Mrs. Hope Shinn is a career educator with nearly a decade of experience serving students and families as a classroom teacher, school counselor, and administrator across PK–12 settings. As a proud product of public education, she is deeply passionate about the impact schools have on children, families, and communities.
She is excited to serve alongside a team of educators committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. She believes the heart of impactful education is strong relationships, high expectations, and an unwavering belief in kids.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and her Master of Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Their family is especially excited for this new journey, as their oldest child will also be part of the John Glenn Elementary family this year.
