Vision: For our students to become a part of the competitive workforce, technology integration is not an option, but an imperative. Integrating  current and new curriculum and technologies into best teaching and learning practices  will ensure that our students are engaged with a high quality education which gets them college and career ready.

Mission: We, at the Curriculum and Instructional Technology Department, want to  influence teacher engagement and leadership, influence teacher and  student development through professional learning opportunities, and  influence learning through action-based research and planning. We can  do this through…

  • Maximizing school resource utilization

  • Aligning state standards and district scopes to the purchased curriculum

  • Creating pacing guides aligned to district curriculum for new and existing teacher utilization

  • Creating common assessments where there are none available

  • Developing an understanding of students’ technology skills

  • Providing technical assistance for educators in a timely manner

  • Proactively determining teacher technology needs throughout the  year

  • Providing on-going professional learning opportunities for  educators and   leaders either virtually or site-based

  • Collaborating with educators and leaders through frequent visits to schools

  • Developing guidance documents and online resources

  • Frequently updating the Instructional Technology Website

  • Communicating barriers and needs to site-based and district administration

  • Providing equal access of technology to every student K-12

At the Curriculum and Instructional Technology Department, our number one priority is the needs of our students, teachers, and administrators. Our teachers and administrators are valued and respected members of the learning community. We are committed NOT to be a barrier to the instructional process, but a support for our teachers and administrators using open communication and shared problem solving, in order to provide the best education possible to our students.
