Dr. Brayden Savage became Superintendent of Western Heights Public Schools in February of 2022, and was named Region 7 Superintendent of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators in the summer of 2023. 

Savage, a 28-year veteran of public education, came back to Western Heights after serving in Shawnee Public Schools as an Early Childhood Center Principal and at the Oklahoma State Department of Education as the Director of Alternative Education. Prior to her service in these two-roles, Dr. Savage served as Assistant Superintendent of Western Heights. During her tenure, she oversaw areas such as human resources, elementary education, and secondary education. 

Savage is a member of the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators and the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators. 

Dr. Savage earned her EdD from Southern Nazarene University, and she holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, and a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oklahoma.
